Once upon Bosigran I

Cornwall calling…

There is a rocky outcrop on the West coast of Cornwall forming one stunning ridge line. On one sunny day we have decided to get all the way down to the see level and climb the fabulously exposed Bosigran Ridge, also known as Comando Ridge, as the marines used to train their climbing skills here. The interesting skyline is made even more exciting by a wedged boulder in a gap between two steep faces.

The woodblock for the ridge line has some beautiful wood grain but it took quite some time for my skills to develop as well as find a paper that would make the magic happen. Very happy with the result. I am also working on a series of 4 prints that will depict the whole climbing route so watch this space.
