From Onomichi to Imabari on a rental bike.

A great little bike tour over 2 days, exploring 7 islands along the way. Stopping often, enjoying the views, even sketching now and again, exploring the local site scenes and delicious food. It was a little immersion into the life in rural areas, slow and steady, as I don’t like to be hurried when cycling. I have experienced generosity of the locals, when I missed my bus connection from the ferry port to Onomichi bike rental place, I was kindly offered a lift. That is when I quickly learned to say thank you in Japanese. 有り難う御座います
