Little bit of morning magic…

When the sunrise washes the highest tip of the crag across the bay and slowly creeps down it’s shoulders, matching perfectly the morning haze, that sits above the sea. That is what i am talking about.

Being a keen climber for more than two decades, before finally making the trip to the climbing mecca of Kalymnos, is not what many climbers do. Even my brother who only climbed for a few years, back in the day, has visited! Apart from the amazing rock to climb, the views weren’t shabby either and with a little bit of magic and lot of printing trials and tribulations this simple print has emerged.

‘Sunrise over Telendos’ was included in the juried exhibition at the International Mokuhanga Conference in Echizen, Japan in 2024.
